This is not what I´ve expected

The Engine works, the story and the setting is more or less done (in a tiny way) and I could just go on with starting my leveldesign. But what is this!? I feel uncomfortable with my grafics, and I mean really uncomfortable! I don´t think (at the moment) that I can finish the game with those coloring book images.
People tell me to find "my own" style...Well, I tell you when I´ve found it. Its not that easy! I for myself think, I schould just go to extremes. Get crazy. Use onle 4 colors. Use Cutout pictures. Use lines. Use pencil drawings.... Damn, I just dont know. I´ll think about it... some more days and some more nights. Inspiration...please!
